Guidelines & Policies

Value of Life

It's crucial to portray your characters in a way that suggests how much they would logically value their own lives in a deadly situation. Each character should be distinct since they will all react and cope with stress in different ways. You should never take any action that will plainly cause your demise for no other reason than to "win." It's crucial to approach the character as a living individual rather than as a game character who will reappear, whether they be criminals or members of the emergency services.

Framework Limits

Characters: Limit to 15 Civilian Characters

Vehicles: Limit to 10 Registered Vehicles to each Character.

(Does not apply if related to Civilian Owned Businesses and Criminal Organization ONLY)

RC Cars

When using an RC vehicle in Code Three you must use them realistically and have 2 people in total. One person should have a tablet “Controlling” the RC car while the other actually drives the vehicle. You may not use the RC cars for priorities.

Player Clothing and PEDs

Prohibited Attire

You may not wear any clothing, Markings, Patches that would make you look like you’re a First Responder or any type of Military Personnel. No Rank Insignias should be worn at any time (Unless under business structure while active). At no point in time should you have a clothing option showing any sort of Breast or Genitalia anywhere. (On both Peds and MP Peds). When wearing a vest it should not have any marking of a business or First Responder etc… Should only be Blank or say Civilian (Unless under business structure while active).

You should always make sure you have no clothing/skin clipping through each other.

Character age and acting

You may make a character between the ages of 16 though 85. When making your character please act the way someone that age would. If you’re 80 years old you should not be outside sprinting 8 miles and robbing banks etc…

ACT YOUR CHARACTERS AGE

Aircraft Policies

Any Civilian using an aircraft must use that aircraft realistically at all times.

There should only be a max of 5 Civilians using Aircrafts while in the server.

Fireworks Policies

When using our Firework script please use it realistically. When placing fireworks you must be near them to “light” it. You may go as far as approx 50 ft away from the firework you placed with a “remote” to light them MUST BE DONE REALISTICALLY.

Animal Roleplay

You may roleplay as an animal as long as it falls in your structure. You must act realistically as an animal. For example if someone honks at you when you’re a dog/cat you’d get scared which means you should run away.

You should never use your mic in game while playing as an animal.

Character Injuries/Arrests

Death

When your character dies in server you must wait a minimum of one hour to use that character again

Injuries

When your character gets injured it must be roleplayed out realistically.

Arrested

When your character is arrested LONGER than 150 Seconds you must wait a minimum of one hour to use that character again.

Character Names

When making a Civilian character you must make the name realistic. You should not have any inappropriate names or a funny name. You may not have any celebrity names.

Random Death Match

When on the server you should not kill people without an actual reason. If you want to kill someone, there must be a reason your character should kill them. You should not kill someone because they’re your friend and you think it would be funny or they gave you permission because they were bored. You must have a reason before killing or it might be considered RDM.

Out of Character

When on the server at no point in time should you speak out of character. You should never go out and yell at someone because you’re mad or accuse them of breaking rules etc… If at any point someone is doing something wrong please go to the discord and report them. Going out of character will just get you in trouble.

You should also not go out of character because you can’t figure out how to do something. You can use the /ooc chat for that (Use minimally).

Fail Roleplay

At no time should you be spawning in PEDs or Vehicles out in the open anywhere. If you’re looking for a PED to use or changing clothing please use a clothing store or a house that you can go into on the map or somewhere hidden.

When spawning vehicles it must be in a hidden area or next to the garage and must realistically fit in the garage. This does not mean when someone is looking for you to go into an alley way and spawn a different car in. (Considered FRP)

If you get into a wreck going 100+ on a Motorcycle or in a vehicle and survival that would be considered Fail Roleplay

You should not be doing anything unrealistic at any point in time as this falls under Fail Roleplay.

No Value of Life

As you play on the Code Three Server you should always be thinking about your character's life. When you’re doing your scenes, think to yourself if that is something you or your character would be doing in real life. You should be scared to Die or get into a gunfight or breaking into places and robbing places. This is a scary situation.

No Clipping

While active in the server you may not noclip around the map. You may use this if you get stuck or fall under the map etc…

Teleport Feature

Please only use this feature if you’re switching characters (MUST be used realistically). You should not be using this to teleport around the map because you don’t want to drive somewhere etc…

PRIORITY POLICIES

Priority Timer upon joining the server.

When joining a server you must wait a minimum of 25 minutes before you may involve yourself or start a priority.

Priority Scenarios

Priority scenarios are those that require significant police mobilization and require using the majority of a server's resources to a single scene. As you construct scenes, consider what would call for a large number of police officers to respond, using your own instinct.

Running on foot from LEO is not considered a priority

Starting and Ending Priorities

Before doing your priority scene you must activate the script by using /priority start . At no time can a civilian hold the priority for their scene. The only way a Priority can be held is if the Civilian crashes and returns within 5 minutes. If the civilian does not return within 5 minutes the priority will be ended and the timer will start. When the civilian is caught or has escaped first responders the civilian has to start the cooldown timer within 5 minutes.

Priority Timer

When ending a priority you must use the script by typing /priority stop. This will start the 25 minute cooldown. While this is active no other priorities should be happening in the server at all. The timer may be held to a lower time if authorized by Civilian Administration+ ONLY if it is necessary.

Personal Priority Timer

When stopping the priority and ending the timer you have to wait a minimum of 1 Hour before you can be involved in another priority. This includes any and all Civilians.
